Based on my own itinerary, I've crafted a personalized schedule highlighting some of what I loved while in Korea:
Day 1: Arrival & Hongdae Hustle
12:00 PM: Arrive at Gimpo International Airport and pick up your pre-arranged airport van.
1:00 PM: Settle into your Hongdae Airbnb and freshen up.
2:00 PM - 4:00 PM: Dive into the vibrant streets of Hongdae, exploring its trendy shops, street food stalls, and unique cafes. Catch a glimpse of local artists and the city's pulse.
7:00 PM: Enjoy a delicious and authentic Korean dinner at your choice of restaurants in Hongdae.
Day 2: Cultural Immersion
9:00 AM - 11:00 AM: Immerse yourself in nature at the scenic Yeouido Hangang Park, perfect for a morning stroll or bike ride.
12:00 PM - 2:00 PM: Witness the creative energy of young entrepreneurs at the Hongdae Free Market, browsing handmade crafts and artwork.
3:00 PM - 5:00 PM: Walk around Yonsei University, experiencing a taste of Uni life
6:00 PM - 8:00 PM: Explore Cheonggyecheon Stream, a beautiful urban oasis lined with traditional shops and cafes. Enjoy the vibrant evening atmosphere and indulge in a delicious Korean BBQ dinner
or Explore Hongdae's nightlife scene for K-Pop clubs and karaoke bars.
OTHER FUN HIGHLIGHTS to also consider:
Starfield Library at COEX Mall
Visit HYBE

Tuesdays: Trazy's "The Show" package
Find older and used CDs at Aladdin
Day 3: K-Beauty & Hanok Charm
10:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Treat yourself to a K-Beauty shopping spree at a local store, stocking up on skincare and makeup favorites.
1:00 PM - 4:00 PM: Travel back in time at Bukchon Hanok Village, exploring its charming alleys lined with traditional Korean houses. Rent a Hanbok (traditional attire) for an truly immersive experience. I didn't do this because I was afraid it seemed like cultural appropriation but I learned it's not necessarily perceived that way by many in Seoul -- more like a celebration of the culture. Whatever you choose, enjoy a delightful Korean tea ceremony at Cha-teul Tea House or Cafe Onion, soaking in the traditional ambiance.
4:00 PM - 6:00 PM: Immerse yourself in the sights and smells of Gwangjang Market, sampling local delicacies and finding unique souvenirs.
Day 4: Beyond Seoul - Busan Adventure
8:00 AM - 10:00 AM: Take the KTX bullet train to Busan, experiencing South Korea's high-speed rail network.
10:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Check into your hotel at Grand Josun Busan and leave your luggage.
2:00 PM - 8:00 PM: Relax at Haeundae Beach, enjoying the sunset and Busan's coastal charm. Savor a seafood dinner with breathtaking views.
Day 5: Busan Exploration & K-Pop Dreams
9:00 AM - 4:00 PM: Join a pre-booked Busan Van Tour. Sounds so "packaged" but honestly this was so mUCH FUN and so worth it for our group. We would have never covered all this on foot or public transportation.
We visited major sites like Gamcheon Culture Village, and Jagalchi Fish Market. You can explore Busan's historical temples like Beomeosa, or visit the Haedong Yonggungsa Temple for stunning ocean views.
We specifically emphasized K-POP to add to the overall tour. In between the city's major cultural sites, you can visit famous sites like Jimin's Dad cafe, the glass walk/look out. We even went to the cultural mecca at Gamcheon. Fascinating history of the area that grew by refugees of what's now North Korea. Interesting, great Insta selfie spots, and there's an incredible BTS mural on the wall.
Day 6: Back to Seoul & Shopping Spree
10:00 AM: Check out of your Busan hotel and head back to Seoul by KTX.
1:00 PM: Check into your new hotel in Hongdae, RYSE, Autograph Collection.
Rest of the Day: Enjoy some free time for last-minute shopping in Hongdae's trendy boutiques and malls.
Yes, Myeongdong is touristy but it's great too for dumplings and shopping. Get some glass fruit!
YUM! Korean dishes before your departure.
Day 7: Departure & Memories
12:00 PM: Check out of your hotel and take a pre-arranged van to Incheon International Airport.
